Cordy’s business strategy is to become a diversified revenue-, profit- and cash-generating
company. The initial phase of our plan involved the acquisition of 11 well-run enterprises.
These companies have been organized into four industry segments to balance risks,
provide stability and deliver the best long-term results for Cordy’s employees and
shareholders. Geographic diversity is also central to Cordy’s strategy. Today, our
operations include Calgary, Red Deer, Stettler, Sundre, Okotoks, Manning and Grande
Prairie in Alberta, and Sparwood, Invermere and Bob Quinn Lake in British Columbia.
Wherever we operate, we are engaged with local communities, which in turn fuels
solid relationships with customers and employees.
We have the desire to facilitate and promote improvements in performance, profitability
and growth in each of the acquired companies. By investing in streamlining the non-core
administrative processes we will allow each acquired company to focus on its strengths,
core business, performance and growth potential. This includes investing in the
tools and methods by which we get things done on a consistent basis.
We also understand that people are the drivers of our company. Cordy’s objective
